Description: Here is an original, vintage 1961 MATTEL BARBIE DOLL CASE - cover is light blue featuring PONYTAIL BARBIE in several outfits. It opens from a latch top on the top and has a blue plastic carrying handle. The case measures 10 1/2" x 12 1/4" x 2 1/2" closed and opens to reveal a compartment for Barbie, a clothes rack and one cardboard drawer. As you can see in the photos (please look at all of them) there is some notable wear to the case, both inside and out - vinyl is marked / scratched in several places, the latch has some discoloration (could be rust but I'm not sure), there's a tear to the lid at the top and there are some spots and vinyl tears on the inside and the cardboard drawer shows wear as well. I have not tried to clean the case at all. Comes from a smoke- and pet-free home. Thanks!
