Description: A vintage mid-century hallmarked sterling silver small milk jug in the Georgian style with a bell bottom, paw feet, foliate handle and rippled rim. Hallmarks to the underside for Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham, 1957. The jug stands approx 8.5cm high (excluding the handle) and just under 6cm foot to foot. Mouth width across the narrow side is approx 4cm. Weight is good 80.5g. The jug is a good quality thick gauge. Condition: In excellent overall condition with just a little tarnish here and there which can be cleaned away easily. The hallmarks marks are clear. The feet are well aligned and there are no holes when held to the light. A very usable item. Photographs are of the actual item for sale.
