Description: Vintage 1950s 60s I Magnin Dress And Jacket Sz 8 Medium Fair Condition. Svelte and tailored back wool rayon blend wiggle dress with matching satin-lined crop jacket, from the mid to late 1950s to very early 1960s. Original I. Magnin label intact. Black velvet piping and bow details on dress bodice & jacket. 3/4 length sleeves on jacket, cap sleeves on dress. **Please note** There are a few small to medium sized moth holes on the lower skirt. These could easily be patched and repaired from the underside. A trip to the alterations shop or a fairly easy mending project. See photos of each hole. Also looks as if initials were written into jacket linking at inside neckline. Comes from a pet free & smoke free home. There’s a little lint as I was taking photos of the moth holes; it was hung next to a faux fur jacket and I’ve since lint brushed each piece. The rest of the photos are of the outfit, mostly lint-free. No musty odors except for that vintage rayon acetate scent. A dry cleaning or just hanging in some fresh air, could freshen it up a bit :) I’m 5’9”, a size 8, 36 bust, 28 waist and a 38 hip, and it fits me perfectly with a little ease.
