Description: Vintage 1940s Old Hollywood starlet dress. Incredible black and ivory colour block rayon crepe, with wide waistband that peaks under the bust, and phenomenal layered, pleated drape which flares out dramatically, then draping down into a tapered hem, emphasising an ultra feminine, hourglass shape. Bodice is fully studded with grey and clear rhinestones, neck has a peekaboo cowl feature, thick shoulder pads, and the dolman sleeves have long cold shoulder slits, press studs at wrists to emphasise sleeve detail. Basically, this dress has every feature of high 1940s glamour. Dress zips up the back (zip is perfectly functional, my mannequin is just too big for the dress). Label is "Redley Jr. Original".
