Description: This is one tight and beautiful vintage Hibbard, Spencer, Barlett & Co. 2 -blade bone handled Jumbo Dogleg Jack knife made between 1855 -1960 in Chicago, Ill. It measures 3-1/2"in the closed position. Both blades are full with tight and hard locking 90-degree 1/2 stops. Both blades also have super strong snap like a "BIG BEAR TRAP"! Both blade tangs are stamped HIBBARD, SPENCER & BARLETT & Co. The blades have been cleaned nicely with some scratches and age spotting but both blades have good shine and do sit in the right position open and closed and razor sharp! The main blade has a long nail pull with a 1"swedge or false edge on the top spine. The handles are BEAUTIFUL MATCHING JIGGED BONE with no cracks, chips or any imperfections, none better! The handles have brass liners and brass pins with a nickel silver shiny shield and nickel silver front and rear bolsters with no scratches or dings and tight and right. This one is just another one that has been taken care of that came from a large collection of a 60-year 3 generation collection. This one is a good one that would make a get collectible for any collection. Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for looking.
