Description: THIS PIECE DATES TO THE LATE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY WITH THE SKIRTING FASHIONED OF CIVIL WAR ERA MID 19TH CENTURY HAND STITCHED EYELET IN WONDERFUL PAISLEY PATTERNS THROUGHOUT. THE TOP IS IN MACHINE EMBROIDERED FLORALS AND FINE PLEATS WITH LACE INSERTS WITH MATCHING DETAIL ON THE CUFFS OF THE PUFF SLEEVES. LACE TRIMS THE NECKLINE WITH TIES ON THE REAR NECKLINE. CONDITION: FRESHLY HAND LAUNDERED AND IS CRISP CLEAN WHITE. ARE NUMEROUS BREAKS TO THE EYELET WITH TWO BEING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT PANEL WITH A SMALL BREAK HOLE IN THE CENTER FRONT PANEL AND FOUR PINHEAD TINY FRAYS THAT ARE UNSEEN IN THE COTTON GROUND. THE REAR HAS THE MORE EXTENSIVE BROKEN HOLES TO THE EYELET, SOME OF THEM AS SEEN HAVE BEEN REPAIRED AND NOT WELL. TWO THUMBPRINT FRAYED HOLES ARE ON THE CENTER REAR COTTON FOUR INCHES ABOVE THE EYELET WITH TWO FRAY HOLES ON THE REAR LEFT SIDE AND TWO PINHEAD HOLES JUST BENEATH THE WAIST ON THE HIGH LEFT SIDE.
