Description: Hello neighbor , This lot of 2 vintage steel traps consists of 1 VICTOR double coil spring No. 1 & 1/2 steel trap and 1 ONEIDA VICTOR double long spring trap . Both were made in LITITZ , PA . VICTOR was established in 1898 and became a household name in the steel trap business . The VICTOR double coil spring trap has “VICTOR , ANIMAL TRAP CO. LITITZ , PA”stamped on the pan and because of the pitting on the ONEIDA VICTOR double long spring trap , I can only make out “ONEIDA VICTOR , the number 11 , Made in USA , and LITITZ , PA” . These traps are in great working condition , and a part of our American past when hunters and farmers trapped animals for their pelts to help them make it through the winter months when farming could not be carried on .
