The music box is functional and depicts a central mother with her blonde pigtails rigidly extending behind her, holding a baby in her left hand and rocking a newborn with the right. She is surrounded by 5 other children, all with little blue wings on their backs. The music box has the usual wind up mechanism but this one is started after winding by pushing up on the little bar on the side.
