ClausonJohn Robinson's Circus had a highly successful 69 year run through four generations of Robinsons. The run began in 1842 and ended in 1911. The show was dormant between 1912 - 1915. In 1916, the show was sold off - and again in 1929 by the Ringling's, who operated it until 1938. There are currently very few original items available for sale - even for the tail end of the show's existence.Showing only minor signs of age and handling consistent with it's age. One horizontal fold crease at center. Slight top right corner surface creases. No tears, stains or loss. The detailed art and color choices made on this piece are eye-catching. Will display well in your collection. A fine example and an excellent framing candidate. You will receive the exact example as seen in the photos.
