Description: This rare drink menu featured the skills of Doctor Mario Palabrica, who doubled as a mixologist for the Beverly Hills Hotel. The front cover has a picture of Peter Graves (“Mission Impossible”) and Amanda Blake (Miss Kitty of “Gunsmoke”) standing next to Mario. Interestingly enough, Peter Graves and James Arness (Matt Dillon) were brothers. The middle cover shows various rum and whiskey drinks, some strong, some regular, and some non-alcoholic. Check out the prices, even for an expensive place like Beverly Hills. The back page lists the special drinks of the house concocted by Mario. Propriety info. The menu is quite large (13 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches) and made of a lightweight cardboard with a glossy cover. The back page has two very small staple marks near the bottom, barely noticeable, probably when specials were attached. Overall, though, this iconic drink menu from 55 years ago is in really good condition.
