Description: I've always been especially fond of medals actually struck onsite; they seem to have a bit more history and reality to them when you think of someone watching the coining press 150 years ago and taking their souvenir literally 'hot off the press.' This medal is about the size of a quarter and is a very lustrous and gem uncirculated example. Many fairgoers tucked away their souvenir medals for safe keeping and many others kept them as a pocket piece. This original owner obvious was one of the former. Gorgeous gem BU.
