On the 2nd of June 1943, he married Vivian Ruth Estes, born 19 August 1921 in Norfolk, Virginia, daughter of William Curtis Estes (1894 - 1972) and Ruth Anne Forrest (1897 - 1987). Edison died 27 May 2018 and was laid to rest in Haynes Cemetery beside Mathews Chapel UM Church in Cobbs Creek, Mathews Co., Virginia. Ruth joined him 12 December 2019.Their children include: Rebecca "Becky" Anne Vail Holt (1946 - 2010), Constance "Connie" Earle Vail Hughes (1949 - 2019), Deborah Ruth Vail Young (1952 - ).Photo measures about 4.5 x 7.5 inches and is in very good condition tucked safely away in its folder. It comes from the Luckey Studio in Plainfield, New Jersey. There is some aging as to be expected with a photo about 100 years old. Please see photo scans for inspection.
