Description: Offered here is a beautiful and impressive challenge coin that commemorates the A-7 era for the Clansmen of VA-46. The squadron flew the A-7 Corsair II from 1968 until 1991, and their home port was NAS Cecil Field. The coin is 2" wide, and 3mm thick, cast in gold-tone metal with great colors and texture. One side features elements from the squadron's insignia as well as Naval Aviator wings. The other side of this coin is emblazoned with a silhouette of an A-7, as well as the emblems for CVW-1 and CVW-7, and the squadron's hereldic device. Both sides of the coin are bordered in a gold rope motif. They would make a wonderful gift for anyone who served with VA-46, or would make a great addition to any collection. A limited number of these coins are now available, and will be shipped free via USPS First Class Mail to addresses within the continental U.S Overseas orders will be responsible for any additional shipping charges.
