Description: This is a very unusual hat. It is unbranded. The pillbox portion of the hat is in very good condition with no fraying of the braided black, white, and gray detail around the brim. Attached at the back of the hat are two long ties that I assume are meant to be used to tie the hat under the chin. One tie has some yellowing at the top, as does the crown inside the hat. I assume that is from hairspray. Otherwise the hat, both inside and out, is very clean. The hat pin is exactly where my grandmother put it when she put the hat away for storage. Please look at the pictures carefully to determine the condition.
