Description: United States Territorial Coinage for the Philippine Islands by Neil Shafer This is a pre-owned softcover reference book of the coinage minted by the United States during the period that the Philippines was a U.S. territory before independence. It was published by the Whitman Publishing Company in 1961. Topics include a brief history of the Philippines and a catalog of the coinage from 1902-1945 with discussions about patterns and other general information. The book has an Ex Libris paper label inside indicating the previous owner. The condition of the book is very good but has some minor damage to the edge of the title page and some checkmarks throughout. Some of the gold lettering on the front cover is worn.
