Description: I am selling as one lot 10 different packages of uncut, rough gemstones for the lapidary hobbyist. I bought lapidary equipment and uncut rough from a woman who's grandfather was very actively engaged in the hobby. He had a large basement filled with equipment, and had water piped overhead leading to all his machines, needless to say I was quite impressed. This was about 40 years ago, and I have happily spent many hours with this hobby. I'm 72 years old now, and will be downsizing soon. It is necessary for me to sell off gems and equipment now. I've looked at listings on ebay from India and China, and was dismayed about all the dyed, lab created, and clarity enhanced stones that I see offered, usually with claims that they are natural. You will notice immediately upon inspection the difference with the stones. The stones I'm selling are all natural, uncut gems as they are found in the earth.
