Description: Here are Two Vintage Oscar Schaller, Bavaria, Blue & White + Gold Little Porcelain Plates, SAUCERS, Stamped. I bought these plates in a flea market in Paris about twenty years ago, and they were already vintage then (even maybe antique). These little plates are saucers, but they could also be used for the dessert. It was the stamp used between 1909 and 1918. On the stamp, we recognize the crossing swords and the SC typical of Oscar Schaller from Bavaria Germany. I see three castles towers, a S and C, two crossed swords as for the Saxony porcelain (Meissen), a mountain to illustrate the region. Size:6" across, about 1" tall Condition: The motifs in the middle of each plate faded with time, they are stronger all around the edges. The gold also is worn here and there. The stamp under one plate is paler than the stamp under the other plate. I see a few blue dots here and there, coming from the fabrication. Overall, still beautiful vintage condition in spite of the faded motifs. Please, check the photos as well, the underneath is shiny, so everything was reflecting on the white porcelain, I apologize about that, these are not flaws, just reflections of myself or objects on the white porcelain.
