Description: Two extremely handsome gents in their late 20s, early 30's seen in this 1/6th plate (2.75 x 3.25") daguerreotype and then many years later in a tintype (measures 4.25 x 3 in.) that is also part of this lot. The gent on the left is ID'd both on the front and verso of the tintype as "Moses Arehart" [1822-1903]*. The other gent is currently "anonymous". Their daguerreotype likenesses reside in a complete thermoplastic case called "The Calamady Children" (in Berg p.111, #1-104) with detached brass hinges and a red wine colored velvet pillow. The case has been "over loved" and is damaged including some missing edges but I feel it should not be replaced. Professionally resealed with P-90 archival tape and new glass. Condition of the dag as seen and should be considered in excellent condition for its age. The tintype's condition is as seen, including a slight bend. *See:https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/42159545/moses-arehart www.geni.com/people/moses-arehart/6000000021713144898 Return policy: Up to 3 days if not as described after buyer receives package through tracking marked as "delivered" and first notifies seller.
