Description: We have Children's musicals from the Hal Leonard Company. I used these with upper Elementary students in 4-6 grades. One is called "Get in the Game" and is by John Jacobson and Mac Huff. It is a cute sports theme musical about sports including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, bowling, golf, and skateboarding. This one was super successful at my school. It has some parts for students in between the songs. The songs are mostly unison and two part harmony. It also has choreography instructions. This includes the teacher edition and CD with full singing and accompaniment and accompaniment only (for performance). The second is called I Need a Vacation by Mac Huff and John Jacobson. This one also a teacher's edition and a "Show Trax" CD. It is another two part musical with songs, dances, and speaker parts. It is perfect end of year musical highlighting what students do during summer vacation. Disclaimer- when I bought this at full price, it included a license to perform these. If you want to use these in a classroom, you may need to research whether you need to buy a new license fee to cover yourself.
