Description: This is the original dustjacket of this book and it has lots of wear, chipping and tears, along with some stains. Some of the stains are on the outside and some are on the backside of the dj (see pics). Also the front flap is price clipped. Hardcover is very good. Inside front and back covers have some light browning, but remaining pages are good except first page which has original owner's name stamped with 2 different stamps. Pages are all clean and still pretty white, but still have some faint tanning from age. Still all are in good physical shape and bound well. The copyright page on this book does not identify the printing number, and at first this was confusing as First Editions of this book state First Edition, D-C. However, for the few Second Printings that are online, they also do not have printing number information. From another listing, "The 2nd and 3rd Printings of the 12 & 12s are almost identical with no labels on the copyright page identifying the printing or what year they are from. There is a way to identify which printing it is however. You can verify this as a 2nd printing by checking the last line of text at the bottom of page 18: “Grand Central Terminal Annex, New York City, U.S.A.” - This text is different on a 3rd Printing." My copy has this exact text on page 18 - see listing photo. Based on this information, I will claim that my copy is a 2nd printing. Please email with any questions.
