Description: An amazing, rare piece of Americana. The 1964 Truetone Model 2173 tube clock AM radio. All electronics have been tested and restored by a gentleman in Seattle. He left a note on the bottom and an instruction note with it. This model needs to warm up the tubes once plugged in for a few minutes to sound it's best. It doesn't have an external antenna so near a window seems to work the best at least for the AM in my rural area. Music through it sounds outstanding to me. Please see all pictures. The case is very clean. There are a few spots that have wear that was unrepairable, but you would be hard pressed to find another model as clean as this. thanks for looking.
