The Harvey Fierstein play originally opened in NYC in October of 1981 at The Richard Allen Center but transfered to the larger Actors Playhouse on 01/15/82 where it ran for 117 performances before transferring to Broadway on 06/10/82 where it ran for 1222 performances. The front features a photo of Harvey Fierstein, title, some production credits, opening date and theatre credit. The back contains critics' quotes, performance schedule, ticket schedule and theatre credit. The cast (not listed) includes Harvey Fierstein, Joel Crothers, Matthew Broderick, Estelle Getty, Paul Joynt and Diane Tarleton. Directed by Peter Pope. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
