Description: Tom Clark of gnome fame produced a series of Jesus's disciples. This one is of a well dressed Phillip that Clark has named St. Phillip. Of course, he was not recognized during Biblical times as a Saint. I am unsure as to why Tom Clark decided to make Phillip a saint in this series and not others, such as John or Peter. Wonderful detail in his hair a robe that looks like it is truly woven in linen. His arms are folded with a fist on his chin in thought. The other hand grasps a scroll with John1:43-46. In the base, his name is inscribed along with Tom Clark's 2000 signature ,#6022, Carin, and North Carolina. Felt Bottom. Please note: The color of the products displayed on photos may differ slightly from the actual products due to factors such as photography lighting, computer resolution, or lighting within you own home, etc. All hand painted and hand crafted items may be expected to have naturally occurring variations, even in new items. Imperfections add to the history and character of each piece.
