The dual sided Pink filter is made of 100% polyester and is nontoxic. The dual sided Pink aquarium filters give you two filters in one. The first side captures the larger particles, debris, and uneaten food. The second side catches the finer particles left behind. Ideal using in place of OEM filters for ponds, saltwater, and freshwater aquariums. You can cut to fit and replace any pad type filter. Easy to cut down to get the exact fit that you want. They are approximately 1 inch thick, but sometimes being condensed for shipping purposes may make them thinner. They should return to original thickness after being removed from their shipping package and set out flat to breathe for awhile. General information: Poly filters are for filtering and purifying both fresh and salt water. Poly filters are nontoxic and harmless to biological filtration because it allows a sufficient amount of ammonia to reach the biological filter to sub-stain bacterial culture.
