Thorens TD-160, 145, 165 Dust Cover Hinge Repair Kit Reinforcers for Turntable

A product to repair or reinforce the dust cover hinges of Thorens TD-160, TD-165, and TD-145 turntablesA pair of solid aluminum hinges stamped in the shape of the original Thorens cover including the slot, for an attractive and clean repair. Or, use it to reinforce your unbroken hinges so they will always be intact. The original stock hinges are SO darn easy to break. If you buy and use the Loctite Plastics Bonding System pictured above, the repair literally takes five minutes. And within an hour, I was holding up the weight of whole cover with just the replacement hinge! (See second to last pic!) Loctite product was $7 in my local hardware store. Used it as directed and it exceeded all my expectations for a solid bond. PS That Loctite plastic bonding system stuff is great! This morning (after 12 hours) it could not only support the whole weight of the cover by the replacement hinge, I was also able to SHAKE IT and have it hold.Note: The glue and the turntable and the dust cover are for illustrative purposes only.
