Boards rubbed and stained. Front placard bright. Spine placard rubbed with some loss. Foredge tips rubbed, bumped, and exposed. Hinges sturdy, but slightly tender. Internally, the binding is sound, but over-opened in a few locations. Spine tanned, with some fraying at the crown. Prior owner's name and date in ink on front flyleaf. Partially erased pencil on the left endpaper (refer to the last picture). Else free and clear of writing and underlining.
