Description: Cunard Line: "The QUEEN MARY: The Official Pictorial History" by Robert O. Maguglin, published in 1985, softbound with 120 pages. I'm not sure what makes this book "official", but it is a great photo book. It is filled with hundreds of color and b&w photos, many of which I haven't seen before. For example, there is a great photo of a steward unpacking boxes of Maddock china, an unusual shot of the crumbled bow after the QUEEN MARY sliced through the HMS CURACOA, and a view of the ship's 310' paying off pennant stretched out along the Promenade Deck with Capt. John Treasure Jones and other officers in front. QUEEN MARY fans, and ship buffs, will enjoy poring through this volume. Very good condition.
