Overall, the book is in Good- Condition for a book over 230 years old! The boards themselves are only in Fair Condition. The leather boards are scratched, chipping, peeling and discolored. The front board is present, but no longer attached to the book. The rear board is loose. The spine is very cracked and discolored and a portion of it is missing at the bottom. The title is faded and hard to read. The corners are bumped. Internally, a previous owner has pasted a nameplate sticker inside the front board and there are pencil notes on the front end pages. There is writing on the Title Page by a previous owner, as well. There is wear and browning to the pages, along with some foxing. A few of the pages have chips and/or creases in them.
