Description: Max Baumstein (Michel Piccoli), head of a charitable aid organization, shoots the ambassador of Paraguay in cold blood in Paris. Afterwards, he surrenders to the police without resistance and gets himself arrested. His wife Lina (Romy Schneider) and the whole family are baffled.
