Description: The Paranoid Style in American Politics and Other Essays by Richard Hofstadter. 1965 first edition, first printing hardcover book with dust jacket. Published by Alfred A. Knopf. 315 pages. Measures approximately 6" x 8.5" x 1.5". This is a previously owned vintage book. It is in very good condition for its age, but like most vintage books, it has flaws and I want you to be aware of them before you make your purchase. Please see all the pictures and note that this particular book is missing the front free end paper and (because of this?) has about a 2 inch tear/separation along the upper inside hinge (see last picture). The cover corners are somewhat bumped and there is a small crease along the bottom edge of the spine (see photos). The dust jacket is in good condition with minor tears, chipping, fading, and dampstaining (see first 3 photos). I try to give a very thorough description, but it's possible I missed something. Please study the pictures to see the condition of the item and feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all. Sent via media mail and packaged thoroughly to withstand the trip. I offer a shipping discount if you purchase more than one item from me. If you need a different shipping method, please contact me before purchasing. This book is from a smoke-free environment.
