Titles in gilt to spines, larger gilt stamped logo incorporating the initials of both authors to fronts. Marbled end pages. Top page edges gilt. Some light, general wear to leather edges and corners. Small gouge to spine leather of Volume I. Repair to small tear in leather of Volume II. Hand-numbered and signed by the editor to limitation page (verso of half-title of Volume I) #214 / 500. Errata slip bound in front of half-title of Volume I reading: "The full-page Photogravures of Views on the Lea (Plates II. to XXVIII.) are by Mr. P.H. EMERSON, B.A. ; those on the Dove, Wye, &c (Plates XXX too LIV.) are by MR. GEORGE BANKART." Volumes sound, square. Solidly very good.
