Description: THE BEATLES Yesterday and Today 1966 (1976) LP Capitol Records ST-2553 While this Beatles album is mostly known for its "Butcher" cover on its earliest pressings (that few will be able to afford except for the 1990 and later reissues with that cover), this is a 1976 Jacksonville Pressing (2nd, with the larger 1 & 2 side numbers on the label) of which Discogs has only four copies, VG+ starting at $18.00. Covers aside, this Beatles album still has some great tracks on it - Yesterday, Day Tripper, Nowhere Man, We Can Work It out... Interesting that it took 10 years for Capitol to print the Gold Record Award on the cover 10 years after the album went Gold. This copy was completely play-tested and played absolutely excellent, nearly near mint. Can't go wrong with that. Cover is VG+ due to a 3" scrape on the spine, top down, otherwise would have been excellent. Matrix / Runout (Runout A): ST-1-2553-W2-#5 O Matrix / Runout (Runout B): ST-2-2553-B8 #5
