Description: The Amazing Kreskin 3-volume “instant library” w/signed 1989 personal letter At a single low price, we offer four different items related to the personality and presentations of The Amazing Kreskin (George Kresge), the now-legendary mentalist and entertainer whose background is the subject of this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreskin Kreskin, the creator of these collectible items, was an acquaintance of the owner and occasionally met with him at venues across the United States to discuss matters related to the performance of mentalism. After one of these meetings, which took place at the American Museum of Magic in the owner’s hometown, Kreskin wrote and signed the personal letter which is included in this package of items. The letter is on Kreskin's personal stationery, which bears an unusual design. Also included are three of Kreskin’s published books, described below. The winning bidder will receive more than 500 pages of material related to the intriguing subject of mentalism and the personality of Kreskin. All individual items remain well bound and/or stapled, are highly readable and ready for study. The book itself is in very good condition. — The 1989 signed letter described above, written by Kreskin to the owner of these items. The letter was slightly folded along its edges for storage, which helped to preserve its condition after three decades. Only the winning bidder will be allowed to read the letter’s contents in full. — A copy of “Secrets of the Amazing Kreskin,” published in 1991 by Prometheus Books. This softbound edition of 166 pages features a variety of suggestions about how one can improve his or her mental abilities. Features a section of photographs. In very good condition. — A copy of “How to be (a fake) Kreskin,” published in 1996 by St. Martin’s Paperbacks. In very good condition. Please inspect the photos to assess the condition and contents of these pre-owned issues, all of which are in excellent, extremely usable condition. All are in firm condition, with tight binding and no loose pages. Search the internet and you’ll find individual copies of these items tend to be scarce and sell for more individually than we are asking for them together. We offer all these items together at a reduced price because we need to cull our library of volumes quickly. That’s why we will sell the items together and will not separate them for individual sale. Requests to do so will not be answered. Seller’s statement: As I continue to downsize my collection of books, I’m focusing on unusual phenomena, occultism, magic and related subjects. I’ve offered several difficult-to-find items on eBay in the hope of reaching a broader group of collectors. It’s possible that some may be of interest to you. Please glance over these current items is the "More from this Seller" section. Thank you!
