Saddle measurements are shown in the photographs. This G Series saddle is factory fresh and may require some minor adjustment / fine tuning. If your guitar has Takamine factory installed electronics this saddle is not the correct part for your instrument. If your guitar is a Takamine Pro Series model this saddle is not the correct part for your instrument. ~ Other saddle components are available from AddictedToToneInc ~ SADDLE TIP FROM BILL: A finger nail EMERY BOARD is perfect for finishing the saddle. A medium to coarse grade sand paper will remover material quickly, a fine grade sand paper should be used to finish. The side of the saddle may need rounding to match the saddle slot perfectly. If material needs be taken from the bottom of the saddle to lower string action or the sides of the saddle (if the saddle is to tight do not force it into the slot) make sure the emery board is laying on a flat service and move the saddle across it while the emery board remains motionless. Non electronic parts like Tuners, Nuts, Saddles are carefully inspected and tested; any part that requires assembly is assembled. Many sellers do not possess a working knowledge of the Takamine equipment they are selling and simply send merchandise without examining the item being sold. As a guitarist, artist and former touring musician I understand how important this equipment is to the individual purchasing it; most of my customers are casual players but for some of my clients the part being purchased is needed for work and making a livelihood - an extended downtime can make for some potentially hungry days!
