The unit has been tested and confirmed to operate as it should - the exterior is in well above average cosmetic condition and the VFD display is nice and bright. This unit does have the internal GPS receiver card (87-8028-2) installed which supplies 12 volts to the antenna, so the use of a matched Symmetricom AT575 12V antenna is recommended. This unit has been upgraded with a new, latest generation GPS receiver module from Furuno so that you won't need to worry about the date being incorrect or failure to sync to GPS for years to come. The internal 10MHz oscillator is the standard TCXO type. The firmware has been upgraded to the latest version posted on the Symmetricom website (v2.4), and this supports reporting and configuration via a web interface. The unit does have the optional software based functions activated: NTP server, Time Interval/Event Timer (TIET), Frequency Measurement, Programmable Pulse Output. Rack ears are provided as shown (and some chips in the paint on them have been retouched so the unit will look smart when installed). In my testing I was able to achieve lock to GPS time and screenshots of the results of my testing are provided below.
