Description: Custom made to fit in the USA. XB Extremeblaster streetfighter series polished stainless steel slip on shorty glass pack fitting 2001-2004 GSXR-1000 stock header pipe. XB Extremeblaster bolts on to stock header pipe with a short stainless steel mid-pipe and includes a new upgraded exhaust gasket and everything needed for complete installation. This pipe delivers a deep tone with minimal distortion that is not excessively loud with the sound arrester like other short after market pipes. The XB can be purchased with a sound arrester baffle (not included in the base price above-see below) as shown in the photo to reduce decibels 10-15db and clean the tone with minimal distortion. The sound arrester helps to prevent lean out conditions at high rpm (snap, crackle, pop) by providing some back pressure. Pipe is ready to bolt on to stock header. New higher temp 2000 degree coating on the cap This powder coating type is designed for optimum performance in harsh environments specific to motorcycle exhaust and other high temperature applications in outdoor environment. It has superior heat and corrosion resistance and has been tested to automotive specifications and meets or exceeds standards of performance for exhaust and muffler coatings. Heat resistance in excess of 1100 degrees and continuous testing for 48 hours at 800 degrees show this coating to hold its color, gloss and physical integrity at this service temperature. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees.This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing. No blistering or rusting from scribe after 120 hours continuous testing. Passed a full battery of corrosion performance tests for automotive applications.
