Description: This is a fully polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains a super rare, partial true scorpion from the Cretaceous Period. Please note that the scorpion is partial and missing most of its body and stinger. It is still very rare to find even a partial true scorpion in amber.What makes this particular scorpion interesting is that it looks like it is reaching out towards a fly that was caught in the amber as well. With the scorpion is also a partial roach and a wasp.This scorpion and insects were on the Earth when dinosaurs including T-Rex and Triceratops were. The piece itself weighs 4.0 grams with approximate dimensions of 3.5 cm length by 2.8 cm width and 0.5 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch.Please see my feedback.
