Description: Super Rare, Vintage MONIES "Designer Runway" Bangle/Bracelet by Gerda Lynggaard, Copenhagen, Danmark. This pre-owned yet Rigid and Chunky tubular bangle, comes with light Cosmetic wear. The bracelet/bangle it is made from Resin & Organic polyester with Golden flaked beads. It is an Amazing design using the stretch cord, so it could allow for almost any size wrist to wear this beauty. We were told..that the Amber colored bracelet with the golden flake pieces were not offered in the US marketplace, only available in Europe. This is a Very Special and Unique find, as not many were made. You likely won't be seeing one for sale, for a while. Jewelry marketed under the Monies brand has a reputation for making a statement. The materials used in crafting their pieces are often natural elements, including dyed horn, bone, wood, organic resin, dyed coconut shell, and leather, among others. These components are sometimes combined with metals or to create jewelry with an Avant-Garde appeal. Many Monies pieces were marked only with paper hang tags leaving them unmarked once those are removed. When marked, sometimes the signature is stamped into metal work or on a cartouche inlaid into the material used in the design. Other times it is on a metal tag freely dangling from the piece.
