Description: Vintage Stavangerflint handpainted plate of The Man with the Mandolin. Designed by artist Inger Waage of Norway. This plate measures 6-1/2" The back is marked: STAVANGERFLINT Handpainted I.W. Norway 54-218 It was pre-owned and is in very good condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, however there are some marks on the edge of one side of the plate. I think they are there from when it was made; perhaps under the glaze as I tried to get them off and they are still there. Please zoom in on photos for detail as pictures are part of the description.
