Description: This is Stanley Bailey No 4 C Corrugated Wood Plane that has the Three patents of March 25 , '02 ,August 19 , '02 , and April 19 , '10 embossed behind the frog. This plane has a straight bottom with good corrugations and a nice clean throat. The body of the plane has Small script Bailey in front of the knob and No 4 behind the tote. The frog assembly is proper and complete with a working lateral adjuster and a neat old rear adjuster. Tote and knob appear original and stout with no repairs. The cutter is 2 inch wide cut and a triangle shaped logo at the top which reads Stanley New Britain , Conn USA . Lever cap is proper and works great . The cutter chipper set has lots of life left but will need hone. I believe that his is a Type 11 model that was offered 1910 -1918. The only apology here is this plane is being sold as found and will need clean up but all parts appear original and proper. Buyer pays $18.40 S&H in USA.
