Description: I have a number of extra copies of the Squadron Signal books I've acquired on my journey to build my collection. I'm listing them here to help others build theirs. Copies range between Fair to Like New condition with most being Good to Very Good. All include all pages unless otherwise noted. I've added photos of the front and back of each book. I can still refund you the difference for the shipping overage, but then the way eBay handles the refund it negatively impacts the contribution to the charity. Condition Notes-------------------------------------------------------Book 0001: Luftwaffe in action - Good condition. Item has faded around the edges and spine and has some general storage wear.Book 0002: Luftwaffe in action - Good to Very Good condition. Some light soiling and fading near the spine, minor crease at lower right corner, overall still flat and fully intact with some storage/age wear.Book 0004: Luftwaffe in action - Good condition. Moderate soiling/discoloration at spine, book otherwise structurally intact and features just mild storage wear.Book 1009: F-100 Super Sabre in action - Very Good to Fine condition. Cover in very good shape, just light storage wear, otherwise very clean and pages look unread. Book 1014: Gunslingers in action - Fair to Good condition. Moderate wear on cover, a couple dents in spine, small residue from retail price sticker, small section of moisture damage in lower left corner that has stained that corner of book through, but is mostly confined to the margin and all text is intact and legible. Book 1015: F-106 Delta Dart in action - Very Good condition. Flat, clean, pages are great. Just minor wear at tiny spots in upper and lower right corners.Book 1024: F-15 Eagle in action - Good condition. Spine has some wear, some rubbing on cover. Residue of retail sticker on cover. Book 1026: Curtiss P-40 in action - Good condition. Spine has some discoloration and top inch is split. Some rubbing on cover but book is overall in very good shape for its age. Book 1029: F4U Corsair in action - Very Good condition. Rubbing on cover, retail price sticker on back cover. Book 1030: Messerschmitt Bf 110 Zerstorer in action - Very Good to Fine condition overall for its age, cover smooth and still has a bit of gloss. Light rubbing on cover, some wear cracking on spine, about a 1.5-inch compression in the very upper right corner of cover. Book 1034: B-25 Mitchell in action - Good to Very Good condition. Light storage wear. May have a retail sticker still on back cover, or section of moisture warping in upper left quadrant of book and a sticker identifying former owner on first page.Book 1039: Spitfire in action - Very Good condition. Light storage wear to cover, one dent spot in spine. Book 1041: Macchi C.202 in action - Fair to Good condition. Spine has heavy chipping, rest of book is great for its age, pages flat and clean, only light wear elsewhere. Book 1042: B-36 in action - Good condition. A couple dent spots in spine, crease in lower right corner, wear at lower left spine and moderate rubbing on cover. Remnants of retail sticker on back. Book 1043: P-39 Airacobra in action - Very Good condition. Crease in upper left corner, light stress in spine, all else very good. Book 1044: Messerschmitt Bf 109 in action - Very Good condition. Cover has rubbing and residue from retail sticker. Otherwise very good copy, flat, no tears, just light wear at edges.Book 1045: P-51 Mustang in action - Very Good condition. Light storage rubbing. Crease at each upper and lower right corners.Book 1047: C-130 Hercules in action - Very Good condition. Rubbing on cover. Book 1049: A-10 Warthog in action - Very Good condition. Storage wear on cover, some denting in spine, small creases at right corners. Residue of retail sticker on back cover. Book 1050: B-26 Marauder in action - Very Good condition. Very nice copy overall, thin strip of fading along spine, light storage wear elsewhere.Book 1053: F-16 Fighting Falcon in action - Very Good condition. Cover rubbing, and residue of retail sticker on front, retail sticker still on back.Book 1054: SB2C Helldiver in action - Very Good condition. Clean copy, just light storage rubbing.Book 1056: SR-71 Blackbird in action - Very Good condition. Light storage rubbing and wear at lower edge and small crease at lower right corner. Retail sticker on back.Book 1057: Messerschmitt Bf 109 in action part 2 - Very Good condition. Light rubbing on cover, very small weak crease at lower right corner. Retail sticker on back.Book 1060: Skyraider in action - Very Good condition. Nice copy, light storage rubbing, retail price sticker on back cover.Book 1063: B-17 in action - Good to Very Good condition. Some spine stress and light rubbing, previous owner's name stamped on inside cover. May have a retail price sticker.Book 1064: SBD Dauntless in action - Very Good condition. Some spine stress and light rubbing. May have former owner's name stamp in it.Book 1065: F-4 Phantom II in action - Very Good condition. Some stress and thin band of fading on spine. Remnant of former owner's stamp on inside front cover and retail price sticker on inside back cover.Book 1067: P-47 Thunderbolt in action - Very Good condition. Light wear. Residue from retail price sticker on inside front cover.Book 1068: P2V Neptune in action - Fine condition. Retail price sticker on back cover. Book 1070: F-8 Crusader in action - Good to Very Good condition. Light storage wear overall. Small crease at upper right corner, dent/stress wrinkle at lower right bottom edge, some wear at spine. Retail sticker on back cover.Book 1072: Hurricane in action - Very Good condition. Light storage wear. May have a retail sticker on back cover.Book 1073: Ju87 Stuka in action - Very Good condition. Some light wear, spine may have either a thin strip of color fading or some denting. Some small creasing in upper and lower right corners. Book 1075: UH-1 Huey in action - Very Good condition. Thin strip of color fading at spine. Front cover has a very slight crease in middle and a small dent near right edge. Book 1083: Mi-24 Hind in action - Fine condition. Light storage wear, nice copy. Book 1085: Junkers Ju 88 in action - Good to Very Good condition. Light storage wear and light denting in spine. Crease down left edge of back cover. Book 1093: Spad Fighters in action - Very Good condition. Thin strip of color fading at spine. Front cover has a very slight crease in middle and a small dent near right edge. Book 1094: T-6 Texan in action - Fair to Good condition. May have a section in top right quadrant of moisture warping and some light stress at spine. This has not affected book's legibility.Book 1102: Typhoon / Tempest in action - Very Good condition. Nice copy with still glossy cover, some stress at spine and crease in upper right corner. Book 1117: Hawker Sea Fury in action - Very Good to Fine condition. Nice copy, still glossy, has dent in upper left corner and very light curling at very edges of upper right front and upper and lower of left edge of back cover.Book 1119: OS2U Kingfisher in action - Very Good condition. Nice copy, glossy, has light stress in spine and small crease in upper right corner. Retail price sticker on back cover.Book 1124: C-123 Provider in action - Very Good condition. Cover still glossy, some denting in spine, very slight curling on right corners. Book 1136: F/A-18 Hornet in action - Very Fine condition. Cover still glossy, has small curl in upper right corner. Book 1139: Mosquito in action Part 2 - Good condition. Cover still glossy, has large crease in lower right quadrant of front cover, and small crease in lower left corner, some denting in spine, residue from retail sticker. Book 1141: P-12 / F4B in action - Very Good condition. May have minor stress at spine or small thin sections where color scraped away. May have retail sticker on back cover. Book 1143: MiG-19 Farmer in action - Very Good to Fine condition. Clean, glossy copy, light wear at upper right corner.Book 1145: F4U Corsair in action - Good condition. Glossy copy, but has curling and crease in upper and lower right corners, some stress wrinkles in right side of cover, light denting in spine, creasing in lower left back corner.Book 1169: La 5/7 Fighters in action - Very Good condition. Light bend near upper right corner of front cover, two stress dents in spine, all else good and cover still glossy.Book 1171: de Havilland DH 2 in action - Very Good condition. Light bend at upper right corner, a bit of denting in spine, small reading stress mark at lower right front cover, book otherwise in very good shape and cover still bright and glossy.Book 1188: C-46 Commando in action - Very Good condition. A few stress dents in spine, light wear at right corners, all else good and cover still glossy.Book 1204: Early MiG Fighters in action - Very Good condition. Almost Like New condition except for dent in lower left cornerBook 1205: P-40 Warhawk in action - Like New condition. Nice copy, only very slight wear, glossy.Book 1210: B-26 Marauder in action - Very Fine condition. Nice glossy copy, small light crease in upper right corner, very light wear in upper left corner.Book 1211: P-51 Mustang in action - Almost Like New condition except for slight dent in center of spine and light wear at right edge corners.Book 1220: F4U Corsair in action - Almost Like New condition, very small bit of wear at lower right corner. Retail price sticker on back.Book 5510: Fw 190D Walk Around - Good condition. Moderate wear; cracking at spine and slight bending at very right edge. Has an impact impression on lower bottom of back just right of center. None of this has rendered the pages unreadable, they are still great and free of tears and fully legible. Retail sticker on inside front cover.Book 5513: Allison Engined Mustangs Walk Around - Very Good condition. Good glossy copy in nice shape. Crease in upper right corner.Book 5523: F-105 Thunderchief Walk Around - Very Fine condition. Tight glossy copy in great shape. Very small bend at upper right corner tip, retail sticker inside front cover.Book 5525: TBF/TBM Avenger Walk Around - Very Fine condition. Glossy copy in great shape. Very minor wear at lower right corner.Book 5533: SBD Dauntless Walk Around - Good to Very Good condition. Glossy copy, some wear at right upper and lower corners, small half-inch tear in lower front cover, a dent in lower left corner. Retail sticker on inside front cover.Book 5540: MiG-15 Fagot Walk Around - Fine to Very Fine condition. Clean, tight copy. Single faint dent mark at spine. Minor storage wear has reduced some of the cover gloss.Book 3002: German Infantry in action - Very Good condition. Light rubbing on cover.Book 6001: Aces of the Eighth - Very Good condition. Flat copy, some minor wear at lower right corner, some stress at spine. Book 6002: ...And Kill MiGs - Very Good condition. Good clean flat copy. Minor wear at lower right corner, small chip on lower spine. Book 6010: Phantom II - Good to Very Good condition. General storage wear, cracking and some denting on spine, light wear at corners, crease at lower right corner on back cover and some pages. Book 6028: Superfortress The Boeing B-29 - Fair to Good condition. Most of book is in Very Good to Fine condition, small (.5 inch) section of lower left corner is damaged. All pages are great. Book 6029: German Fighters of World War II - Good condition. Fully intact, great pages. Some rubbing and small stain in very middle of front cover, crease/curl in upper right front corner, Small section of light impact at lower quarter inch of spine. Book 6034: Air War over Southeast Asia Vol 1 1962-1966 - Fair to Good condition. Heavy rubbing and wear on cover, small chips in lower left and right corners, some cracking on spine, but pages are clean, flat, and complete. Book 6035: Air War over Korea - Good to Very Good condition. Some rubbing and storage wear, small crease in upper right corner, and some cracking on spine. Book 6036: Air War over Southeast Asia Vol 2 1967-1970 - Good to Very Good condition. Light rubbing on cover, small chips in upper right corner, light cracking on spine, minor residue from retail price sticker. Book otherwise in very good shape, tight overall with clean, flat, pages. Book 6042: Wild Weasel The SAM Suppression Story - Good to Very Good condition. Cover has some light soiling and storage rubbing, small denting at upper left and lower right corners. Pages look great. Book 6047: Strangers in a Strange Land - Good condition. Cover has some light rubbing, spine has some light cracking. Small area of upper left corner is dented.Book 6046: VNAF South Vietnamese Air Force 1945-1975 - Very Good condition. Light spine crease, general wear at edges of book.Book 6048: USN / USMC Over Korea - Very Good condition. Overall some storage wear and moderate cracking at spine, small creases at lower right corner and a tiny bit of peeling at lower and upper left corners. Ex libris: inside front cover has former owner's identification sticker. Book 6058: Planes, Names and Dames - Very Good condition. Light storage wear, faint bend at lower left corner, cover still glossy. Book 6059: Golden Wings 1941-1945 - Very Good condition overall. Wear cracking on spine, small crease at bottom right edge of cover. Book 6124: Air War Iraq Operation Iraqi Freedom - Good to Very Good condition. Overall good clean, flat copy. Small section at top two inches of spine lost color probably from rubbing or manufacture defect. May have crease in upper right corner or some denting in spine.Book 6151: Air Force Colors Vol 2 ETO & MTO 1942-45 - Very Good condition overall. Some wear on spine and light wear at very upper and lower right corners, small crease in upper left corner of back cover. Book 6153: Air Force Colors Vol 3 Pacific and Home Front 1942-47 - Very Good condition overall. Great copy, almost Like New except for a small crease in the upper right corner of the book. Book 6156: Navy Air Colors Vol 1 1911-1945 - Good to Very Good condition overall. Light rubbing and storage wear. May have a crease in lower right corner or upper right corner of cover, some wear at spine, may have a small bit of residue from retail price sticker. Book 6162: USN Aircraft Carrier Air Units Vol 3 1964-1973 - Good to Very Good condition overall. Crease in lower right corner, some wear at spine, small residue/soiling from retail price sticker on cover, crease in upper left corner of back cover. Pages are fine. Book 6177: Marine Fighting Squadron One-Twenty-One (VMF-121) - Very Good condition. Crease wear at spine, light wear at right edge of cover, a few impression marks in cover. Pages are fine, cover still glossy. Book 6204: U.S. Navy Carrier Fighters of World War II - Very Good condition.
