SpaceX Dragon Capsule Decals for Boyce Aerospace nose cones, 1/86 scale

Description: LCSP # SPX-D1D-1-86 and SPX-DDS-1-86 The Boyce Aerospace Hobbies SpaceX Dragon nose cones are nice examples of 3D printing that brings your SpaceX Falcon 9 Flying Model Rocket “up to date” by placing a scale-correct Dragon Capsule atop of it. These nose cones are available as either the original Dragon Version 1 (cargo, only) or the newer Dragon Version 2, or “Crew Dragon.” Version 2 capsules are also flown as Cargo Dragons, which lack the eight “Super Draco” rocket thrusters, which could be used for crew escape during a launch anomaly. The Cargo Dragon version uses the weight savings to carry additional cargo. Our decal set uses artwork originally provided by Alfonzo Moreno of AXM Paper Space Models. The details for the Version 1 Dragon came from the AXM “CRS” paper model series of the Falcon 9 / Dragon 1 combination that flew that the final SpaceX Commercial Re-Supply flight, using the original SpaceX Dragon. The detail for the Crew Dragon (Ver. 2) came as part of the AXM “In-Flight Abort” paper model of the Falcon 9 / Dragon 2 combination that flew that final SpaceX uncrewed test flight. Our goal was to take a fundamentally well-made model product and bring it closer to a more realistic appearance. Please remember that these Nose Cone Decal Sets are intended for use in upgrading your own Boyce Dragon model rocket nose cones. LCSP does not sell the Boyce Aerospace Hobbies Dragon nose cones.
