Description: You can choose from 2 different sourdough starters. There is a "story" with each starter and an explanation of the flavor of that starter in the photo that goes along with the starter choice. You'll see those in the drop down box at the beginning of this listing. Your choices are: Bread Rogers or Vincent VanDough. Your purchase will come with a link to my website where I explain the care and feeding of your new starter. The starter will be sent to you dehydrated and the online instructions will walk you through re-hydrating and feeding it, whether you choose to feed it by volume or weight. My starters have been fed with regular all purpose flour, although you can change that to your own type of flour if you wish. There are tutorials online showing how to do that. Also, you'll get enough starter from me to just re-hydrate some and save some for a back up. It should last...pretty much forever!
