A still is an 8 x 10 inch placard advertising a movie. They were displayed in the theatre lobby to entice moviegoers to go to the box office and buy a ticket. Stills measure 8" x 10" and are photographs printed on thin glossy paper that were created for all movies from the 1910's through the present day. Good: Average used condition, may have pinholes or tape in border areas, slight damage to surface on folds. Fair: Possible tape repairs on folds, tears or pieces missing on borders, water stain, more pinholes than usual. Poor: Heavier damage such as surface folds completely worn, bigger water stains, but presentable and usable. I am not a self-proclaimed professional expert in rating items but I do call 'em as I see 'em in the utmost honest and fair way possible although it might actually be in better or worse condition as seen by you. I have been dealing in movie memorabilia since 1975 and do have experienced knowledge on the grading system. I have noticed that some dealers differ in their opinions on conditions. Notable defects: * Most noticeable are that these stills all have some light curving. (Probably due to the way they were previously stored.)* There is a slight mild bend in the upper right corner on all stills. Hardly noticeable. * Each still has a crop mark on the top edge with the exception of the still with Janet Julian and her sexy legs. Crop mark is on the side. (This is the only still that is vertical.)Based on your ideas of quality, this could be a candidate for restoration or linen-back. Still a nice collectible, regardless. This will be sold AS IS! No exceptions. You will not be disappointed. *Please Note* You will receive these 8 x 10 stills with a piece of cardboard. *Tips* When buying an Original Lobby Card(s) -or- Stills from the 1960's, 1970’s or 1980’s. Check the NSS # National Screen Service as it should always be printed on each card in the bottom right-hand corner. (There are certain exceptions.)
