Description: Slingerland Gene Krupa Sound King 14" x 5" Snare.Chrome over brass snare manufactured between 1963 and 1977. I believe this one is from 1970 or 1971. The strainer knob is unoriginal, but works well. Some cosmetic wear to the chrome. In round with no extra holes. Still has it's original tone control mute and extended snare butt, a la Radio King. A great sounding snare at a great price.
