Description: Help me fix my mess. Some time ago I bought two Bora Portamate 3500 and decided that I would really rather have a Portamate 3550. So I took the rotating ends from one set of the Portamate 3500s and made a 3550 with a bunch of left over parts. Those parts have been gathering dust in my workshop garage and now it is time to move them on. This is a SINGLE of what I'm sure Bora considers an 18-1/2" rail. It measure about 19-1/4" long but the furthest holes are about 18-1/2" apart. The holes themselves are threaded for M10-1.5 bolts. I think the ones that came with the Portamates were about 1" long, but you really don't need them that long. Bora doesn't appear to sell rails of this length. They instead sell PM-3036 which are 36" long. And they sell PM-3014 Extension Couplers which you can put in the middle of two rails. There are certain widths that you can only make with these shorter and those PM-3014 Extension Couplers. I just recently repainted each of these after using my angle grinder with a brush attachment. Some of the galvanizing had an odd haze to them. They look nice now. This is the 3rd and final listing of Bora Portamate rails that I am listing. Each set it a little different. THIS LISTING is for a SINGLE RAIL of the two pictured. From a smoke-free household. Items almost always ship the same day if payment is before 10 AM Eastern Monday through Friday (except USPS holidays). If you have any questions, please ask.
