Description: SIMPLEX 4006-9802 Expansion IDC Module The Simplex 4006-9802 IDC Expansion Module enhances fire detection systems by adding five Class B Initiating Device Circuits (IDCs), each capable of supporting up to 30 Simplex current-limited smoke or electronic heat detectors. These circuits can also integrate manual stations and other compatible contact closure initiating devices. With the addition of an optional adapter module, these IDCs can be upgraded to Class A operation. Furthermore, they can be programmed as Style C for specific use with current-limited devices, where a short or open circuit triggers a trouble signal, ensuring a versatile and reliable enhancement to fire safety systems.
