Description: This pocket watch from the Chinese market is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Crafted in the 1870s, it features a silver case with a polished finish and a solid caseback. The watch is manually operated with a mechanical movement and has 55mm x 19mm dimensions. The watch has a white dial colour with open face closure. It is a vintage piece and is not water-resistant. This Chinese pocket watch model is unisex and has a luxury style. The pocket watch comes with no strap and has no original box or packaging. The item does not have papers.Movement is beautifully carved gilt movement has a lever escapement.It is jeweled throughout and is decorated with ultra ornate carving. To one side there is a signature in Mandarin. Watch is fully working but needs a key to wind up this watch does not have the key but has been wind up with key and works. The white enamel dial has had a professionally repair to left side of number 12 please see photos.There is also a slight issue with the watch case staying shut because it is worn around the spring catch area so it does close but will need a little work to make it perfect and maybe even remove the very small dents that are around the case opening area all this is in pictures.Stunning rare watch at a great price.
