Description: For sale is a wonderful classic Dutch style oil on canvas still life painting. This painting features a classical setting of a wine ewer a tall wine goblet and a arrangement of fruit including grapes apples and pears. There is an open pewter trinket box placed delicately in the setting. This painting is quite lovely to view. The colors are set against a deep dark rich background. It is painted very delicately. The painting is signed on the bottom left corner. We are not certain as to the full name but it may possibly be Jose Goold or Boold. We are unsure. It appears to be dated 1924. The painting was restored in the early 70s according to a restoration label on the reverse. It has been hot wax relined. Condition: Some canvas loss to the upper left corner of the painting as we have depicted in our picture section. This loss is not noted in the main profile picture but occurred at some point in storage. Easily repairable Unframed. Would look amazing in a Dutch black ebonized picture frame Measurements 36" x 26"
