Description: This is a fantastic set of five hand painted needlepoint canvases that are unsigned. They are stitch painted and very well done. There is a different animal in each train car. They were designed to be made into separate blocks. The second photo shows the finished train. Two of the canvases have been started. Both have used wool and perle cotton threads. The engine with the walrus is mostly completed with the exception of the background. The fourth car with the giraffe has much less stitching done. The other three canvases are new. Approximate measurements of the designs are:walrus engine - 5"x7"coal car - 3"x3.5"lion car - 4"x5"giraffe car - 4"x7"alligator car - 5.5"x3.5"These are the measurements for the cars, not the canvases. As can be seen in the first photo there is ample space around the designs. There are 18 holes/inch. Please view all of the pictures as they serve as part of the description. I am downsizing, and currently have several needlework items listed and will be listing more. I would be happy to combine S&H. I am a nonsmoking home, but I do have two non-shedding dogs.
